Ingredients
Serves : 15
Lemon 1
Ginger 2 table spoons finely chopped
Garlic 2 table spoons finely choped
Curry leaves 1 handfull
Green chilly 3 big size finely sliced
Coconut oil 1 table spoon
Mustard 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Asofoetida 1 teaspoon
Salt 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder 2 teaspoon
Vinegar 5 table spoon
Directions
Take a medium sized lemen
Peel off the skin with a slicer
Wash it and cook under steam for 10 minutes. Let it cool
Cut the lemon into small pieces and mix it with salt turmeric powder and asofoetida and keep aside for 15 minutes
Heat oil in a cooking pot or pan. Cracle mustard . Add ginger and garlic saute for few minutes. Add curry leaves and green chillies. Saute it for few more minutes .
Add turmeric powder and asofoetida and saute for 1 minute. Add the prepared lemeon mix to this and saute for 3 minutes and close with a lid . Cook this for 15 minutes and stirr occationally so that it should not stick to the bottom of the pan. After 15 minutes turn off the fire and add salt if needed . Let it cool and add vinegar . Keep this in an air tight container..
